Alexandra Gunnarsson is a Swedish-born artist whose practice evolved from early experimental works in Tel Aviv and Barcelona into a focused inquiry of "inner landscapes." Following a period of introspection, she transitioned from color performances to traditional brushwork, establishing clouds as her central motif. These are not mere landscapes but psychological and spiritual spaces where emotion shifts and transforms, created through an intuitive process of layering light over dark backgrounds to reveal depth and hope.

Deeply influenced by the events following October 7th, Gunnarsson’s work has shifted toward a "language of light," reflecting both personal resilience and a collective search for clarity. Much of her practice involves bespoke commissions, where she translates the unspoken emotions and stories of others into luminous, atmospheric vessels. Her paintings capture the "in-between" moments of life, offering a quiet space for presence, belief, and the possibility of transformation.
