My eclectic practice explores the evolving relationship between the inner self and the world, ranging from landscapes based on my travels to figurative expressions and the repetitive use of personal iconography. Whether working from nature or imagination, my recent works reflect a growing introspection regarding aging, loss, and mortality. Often drawing from my background in literature, I incorporate poetic and musical references into my titles, bridging the gap between narrative and visual art.
Born in Florida and educated at Florida State, UAB (BFA), and Towson University (MA), I spent years balancing a career as a literature educator and a single mother before returning to full-time art in Baltimore’s Station North District. Now based in Afula, Israel, after immigrating in 2023, my work is held in numerous private and corporate collections. I continue to create from my studio, blending a lifetime of geographical transitions with a deep, material exploration of memory and identity.
